Ireland Esports Collegiate Series Winter Finals: A Spectacle of Skill and Community
Dublin, December 2023 – This past weekend, the Ireland Esports Collegiate Series, presented by Monster Energy, broadcast its Winter Finals from the Dogpatch Labs Studio. Also supported by GG Machines and Rí-Rá Brewing Co., the event was not just a competition but a celebration of esports, bringing together top collegiate teams from across Ireland for an electrifying two-day showdown.
The series featured a diverse lineup of games, including Formula 1, Rocket League, Counter Strike 2, League of Legends, and Valorant. Esteemed institutions such as SETU, TU Dublin, Ulster University, Trinity College Dublin, and Queens University Belfast sent their best teams to compete, highlighting the depth and breadth of talent in the Irish collegiate esports scene.
Kicking off on Friday night at 8pm with Formula 1, the event continued on Saturday in-person from 10 am to 6:15 pm with the Nativz Creator Team brilliantly presenting the show. The dynamic casting and engaging presentation added an extra layer of excitement to the already thrilling matches.
The winners emerged after intense and closely contested matches:

Looking ahead, the Ireland Esports Collegiate Series is not slowing down. Nativz Gaming announced that Spring Series registrations are opening next week, the first games are set to kick off week commencing 5 February 2024 and concluding on the weekend of 6-7 April.
