2024/25 Series: Everything you need to know!

Dublin, Ireland – The Ireland Esports Collegiate Series is thrilled to announce an exciting new chapter for the 2024/25 academic year, bringing students, universities and sponsors a host of improvements aimed at enhancing the competitive gaming experience on the island.

Entering the third academic year under Nativz Gaming, the 2024/25 series is set to deliver an enriched and dynamic environment for all participants, with several key upgrades and initiatives.

“As we look forward to the 2024/25 series, the entire team behind the scenes are proud of the continuous improvements we are making to enhance the experience for our students, universities and sponsors. Our dedication to refining every aspect of the series reflects our commitment to excellence”, says Founder & CEO Kurt Pittman. “The hard work we’ve put in early on has begun to forge stronger relationships due to the foundations we now have in place. We’re also extremely excited to release our new platform for competitive gaming, we expect this to play an important role in our growth.”

Key Enhancements for the 2024/25 Series:

- New Competition Platform: We are proud to introduce our own dedicated esports tournament platform. This innovative solution is designed to streamline tournament management, provide a more engaging and user-friendly experience for our student community and create new insights to support our growth objectives.

- Finals Venue Confirmed: The Winter Finals Weekend will return to The Vaults in Dogpatch Labs (Dublin). With the venue and date now locked in we can focus on making the most of the venue, improving the experience further for those attending.

- Expanded Game Titles: Following the success of the Summer Tournament, we’re excited to add three new game titles to our roster. Teamfight Tactics will join our regular game options for both Winter and Summer Semesters. Additionally, Call of Duty and Fortnite will be featured in Mini Tournaments throughout the academic year, alongside Rainbow 6 Siege.

- On the Road with Collegiate Challenge: Our flagship Collegiate Challenge event is hitting the road again after the success we had at TU Dublin this year. Partnering with Monster Energy, we’ll be visiting campuses across the country, bringing the thrill of esports directly to students.

- New Website and Online Store: Introducing the brand new irelandcollegiate.com website and online store. We’ve upgraded our platform and supply partners to offer a broader selection of merchandise and improved delivery times, ensuring a better experience for all.

- Nativz Esports Academy: We’re launching the Nativz Esports Academy, designed to provide players, coaches, managers and analysts with a clear pathway to professional esports careers. This initiative is coming together nicely and underscores our commitment to developing talent within Ireland’s esports industry.

- Alumni Guild Launch: The Alumni Guild went live in July to keep our graduates connected. This membership will offer valuable content and benefits, maintaining our connection with graduates and supporting the competitive gaming community on the island of Ireland.
