Our Collegiate Challenge is on the horizon! Will we see TUD retain their title of champions of the island or can SETU cause an upset? 👀

We’ve got a ton of information to share with you today, all of which enhancing the event and bringing your Collegiate action to a bigger and better scale! 💪

We’re heading to TUD! ☘️

TUD put on a real show for us this year, scoring an impressive 108 points throughout the season and placed themselves in poll position going into the Collegiate Challenge.

As soon as the Spring Finals concluded, we entered talks with the TU Dublin Esports Society and have since been able to secure a venue perfect for the action of the competition.

We’re proud to announce the 23/24 Collegiate Challenge will be held on the defending champions turf, on the TUD Grangegorman Campus.

Uh, format changes? 📋

In 23/24 we saw our finalists compete in Valorant and Rocket League to determine who would be crowned the best - this wasn’t big enough. This year we’ll be seeing the top two compete in both Valorant and Rocket League, but also Counter Strike 2 and League of Legends!

What happened last year? 🔙

Last year saw TUD crowned our 22/23 Collegiate Challenge champions but UCD did not make it easy for them.

On May 27th, 2023 the two leaderboard toppers battled it out on the Gamerfest stage in both Valorant and Rocket League. TUD managed to edge a victory and take home the Collegiate Challenge trophy.
